Description of Service Provider Categories

Our rate structure is based on the amount of education and experience of the clinician with whom you choose to work.

Certified Therapists: Are advanced practitioners who have completed either masters or doctorate degrees and have been certified in couples therapy, sex therapy, or both . They are licensed to provide services independently (i.e., without supervision).

Associate Therapists: Are practitioners who have completed either masters or doctorate degrees and are completing formal training in couples therapy, sex therapy, or both . They are licensed to provide services independently but may be receiving supervision/consultation to develop expertise in couples or sex therapy.

Licensed Doctoral Clinicians: Have completed bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees. They are licensed to provide services independently (i.e., without supervision).

Licensed Master-Level Clinicians: Have completed bachelor and master degrees. They are licensed credentialed to provide services independently (i.e., without supervision).

Pre-Doctoral Practicum Students: Have completed their bachelor and master degrees. They are in the process of completing their doctoral degrees. They provide services under the supervision of a licensed clinician.

Master’s Practicum Students: Have completed their bachelor degrees. They are in the process of completing their master’s degree and provide services under the supervision of a licensed clinician.

 

THE PRACTICE

Ellis Evaluation & Consulting Services is a psychological practice dedicated to helping clients maintain optimal emotional, behavioral, and sexual health through the provision of consumer-friendly evaluations and treatment services. The practice additionally specializes in providing forensic evaluation and consultative services for use within the legal and employment setting. Our empirically grounded approach allows for a thorough understanding of the obvious and not-so-obvious factors contributing to and helping to maintain the presenting issues. With a client-centered focus, unbiased answers to referral questions are provided along with useful recommendations.
